"Dr. Maya Angelou said, β€œtry to be a rainbow in somebody else’s cloud”.

Do you remember the excitement of spotting a rainbow after it rained? Funny how an optical illusion can bring us joy. Is it the colors that make us happier? Is it the excitement of seeing the ends of the rainbow and finding the much sought after β€œpot-of-gold”? Maybe it is a symbol or sign that there is better weather to come; hope you might say.

There will always be cloudy days. Dr. Angelou encourages us to make sure there are always rainbows in those clouds by committing to being one. Be kind to others because you never know what clouds they are facing. Be the hope that there is better weather to come.

This shirt was inspired by my grandson Malakai Elexander McKinney, aka Blueberry, who we lost to Trisomy 18 on 12.22.21. Though time has passed, the emotional clouds still form from time to time. I find comfort in knowing that somewhere over the rainbow, way up high, my happy little blueberry angel flies over us to protect us. πŸ’™πŸ«πŸŒ§πŸŒˆ"
